Missing Loved Ones

Safe & Well is designed to help family and friends know that one another is "safe and well" after a disaster. Concerned family and friends can search a list of those who have registered themselves. Likewise, letting your family and friends know that you are also safe and well can bring your loved ones great peace of mind.

Disaster Distress Helpline

The Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, year-round crisis counseling and support. The Helpline is staffed by trained counselors from a network of crisis call centers located across the United States, all of whom provide:
  • Crisis counseling for those who are in emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster
  • Information on how to recognize distress and its effects on individuals and families
  • Disaster-specific resources and referral information
  • Tips for healthy coping
